Volunteer Certificate Schemepink

Recognising volunteers' time and effort!
The Volunteer Certificate Scheme, which has been in operation since 1996, recognises the hard work, commitment and achievements of volunteers working in the voluntary, community and faith sector in Sefton. Certificates are signed by the Mayor of Sefton and are awarded to highlight 100, 200, 500 or 1,000 hours of volunteering. The ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ recognises those volunteers who have donated over 2,000 voluntary hours.

If you are a volunteer >> You can register yourself. All you have to do is email/call in your hours to Volunteer Centre Sefton at the end of every month. We will keep track of your hours.

You have the choice of receiving your certificates when you or your volunteers reach the hours, or you can choose to attend our annual Celebration Event in June to receive your certificates from the Mayor.

If you are an organisation >> Certificates are free to local voluntary and community organisations. All you have to do is keep track of your volunteers’ hours then complete and return the ‘Certificate Application Form’. Once we have received your completed application form, the certificates will be produced and should be posted back to you within 15 working days.
